Unable to attach multiple files to a message

Document ID: 2678HQ

ISSUE:

Having problems selecting multiple attachments - sometimes I can and sometimes I cannot.

SOLUTION:

The issue is one that falls outside of Eudora. Windows has a limitation on the number of characters that can be used in any one field (To:, Cc:, Bcc:, Attached:, etc...). The total number of characters (including spaces and commas) of the PATH to the attachments (including the attachment name itself) cannot exceed 256. Also attempting to attach numerous files where the Entire number of characters would exceed the Windows limit of 256, is not possible.

You will need to select any number of attachments that would keep the total number of characters under the 256 character Windows limit.
