Foreign language support (Mac)

Document ID: 2298HQ

ISSUE:

Does Macintosh Eudora handle receiving and sending of mail in Japanese, Cyrillic, and other foreign character sets?

SOLUTION:

The Macintosh OS comes with an array of foreign language kits. Provided you have the appropriate language kit installed, and no other plugins are loaded in Eudora that might interfere with the transliteration, messages received in a foreign character set should display properly.

Sending messages with foreign character sets is not currently supported.
