How to use Stationery Files Document ID: 1648HQThis is for version 4.X of Eudora Here is how to use the stationery files - open a new message type whatever you want in the body of the message then select file/save as stationery - under filename give it a name but do not give it a suffix - for example you could call it "test", but do not call it "test.txt'. To use stationery files you can just select message/new message with from the toolbar of Eudora and you will get a new message with that particular stationery file in the body of the message. Message/forward with or reply with work in a similar fashion. A detailed Tutorial how to use Stationery files is available at http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/tutorials/win_stationery.html. This is for version 3.X of Eudora: Copy the portion of the message that you want to save to a new message, then select file/save as, from the toolbar of Eudora. At the bottom of this window make sure that you put a checkmark in the box that is labelled stationary. Next give the file a name where it says filename - but do not put a suffix on the file - like ".txt" - let Eudora do that. Now hit save button. In order to use the stationery file you will need to select message/new message to, if you want to reply to a message open the message and select message/reply to - for forwarding you guessed it open the message and select forward to - you will be prompted to select the stationery file that you want to use.
